Get started with WISE
Hello,
Here’s what will happen soon.
1. Welcome call
Our Customer Experience Team will call you with important information about your initial appointment. The call might come from an interstate number.
2. Your initial appointment
You’ll meet your Employment Partner. They’re here to help you prepare for and find work.
What to bring
- Identification - either a photo ID like a license or two items showing your name and address
- A current resume if you have one or information about your work history, work experience, education and qualifications
What will happen
Your Employment partner will:
- Help you set up MyGov and Workforce Australia Online if you haven’t already
- Explain our privacy and consent forms
- Create a Job Plan detailing what you agree to do to receive income support payments (these are called Mutual Obligation Requirements)
- Discuss how we can help you find employment and the assistance that you may need.
Missing your appointment may affect your payments
If you miss your appointment without advising us, or without a valid reason, your Centrelink payments may be affected. If you can't make your appointment, call the WISE Customer Experience team on 1800 161 231 to organise another time.
3. Ongoing support
You and your Employment Partner will decide how often to meet. They’ll provide personalised support and advice to help you with your job search.
